Cervix weeks after mc & other ?'s
Going by the start date of my m/c, I am on CD 18. I never ovulated, but I hear that is/can be normal. My cervix has remained high this whole time. Its been weird though, in that it has changed directions daily, as well as texture and openess.
For example- One day itll be HMM. The next itll be HSM, then HFC, etc. Repeat. There are times that I check it and it is sitting very slanted and elongated. ![]() I thought it was going to soften up and become "approachable" on cd 14 (my normal 'o' day), but that was one of the days that it firmed up and closed up shop. CD 15 it got soft again, and had a medium opening. Yesterday (cd 17) I had a glob of ewcm. The one and only time ive had any. Cervix at midnight was HSO. Today im back to dry as can be, HFC. CM has been all over the place, too. Mostly sticky- creamy, but not a lot of it either way. Is this normal? I was really hoping to return to a normal "schedule" right away. Just to make me feel better, kwim?

Re: Cervix weeks after mc & other ?'s
You won't like this but yes it can take a while for your body to get back to normal. Everyone is different but some women take time to heal. With my m/c in 2004 I had an anovulatory 36day cycle, got AF for 12 freaking days and then didn't O until CD 42 (I usually O CD11/12 like clockwork). I went back to normal after that humongo cycle but all in all that made the time to get back to normal 3 months.
I had a D&C 10 days ago with this m/c so we'll see (still bleeding/spotting and definitely not fertile). I totally understand wanting to get back to normal-walking in those same shoes. |
