HELP! I think I want to switch to FLATS :)

I would go for a large flat too, based on your kiddo's age/weight.

Check out the photo tutorial thread on flats here...there are tons of folds, you will find your favorite one. Do you have any similarly sized receiving blankets to practice on?

If you are using receiving blankets as flats and they fit well you can get away with the smaller OsoCozy, most receiving blankets aren't bigger than the 27x27 that OsoCozy flats are. You will most likely need a doubler though.

Diaper Junction (Diaper Rite) makes larges. (Love mine for my 35 lb almost 3 year old)

And GMD makes larges that I hear are great! I haven't tried them yet though.

Just a thought, not sure what you're currently using, but I was always able to get much better poo-containment with prefolds. That's just me and my limited folding skills though.

We have some prefolds. I just want something a little more trim

I just wanted to add that the Diper Rite Larges wash up into more of a rectangle, and the GMD's are supposed to wash up into more of a square, so you can take that into consideration when you are deciding what to get.
