@lanasmom and @brooke789 hello fellow greenvillians!

I was born and raised in Greenville, moved to Columbia for college, and couldn't help but come back. I currently live in Duncan about 20 min away. The suburbs around Greenville are where you would find what you're looking for home wise - mauldin, simpsonville, most likely. And Greenville hospital system really is superb in general, not to mention they have a top rated cardiology department.

Another Greenville mom here. I live in Easley.

I live off of Reidville Rd! I haven't met any moms that CD in my area!

To the OP: I would suggest Clemson or Anderson , SC. They have a Nuclear Power Plant and I'm sure your husband could get a great job! My dad worked there years ago :-) they have alot of nice gated communities around lake Keowee and lake Hartwell!

I'm a little late to the party here but making another plug for the Charleston, SC area. We are also in Mt. Pleasant and it has so much to offer! And it's a great time to buy a house (not so much to sell, though)! Good luck!
