It might have been a fluke, lol. Now she's back to getting up one or two times a night, but that's still not bad for 4 months.

Oh no! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I have been adding that probiotic Biogaia to her bottles, and I honestly don't think it's making a bit of difference. I'm thinking about switching back to Good Start just because Biogaia is $40 alone per month, so I might as well buy the Good Start! Also, Babies R Us has the value pack where you can get 2 big tubs for $35. That, with my $10 off coupons, is an unbeatable deal :-)

If you have a Bottom Dollar Food grocery store near you, I found Gerber Goodstart Gentle to be a bit cheaper there. I bet the other types would be too (Gerber Protect, etc). Last time I bought it there, the cans had coupons on them for $3 off a can (this was a few months ago, so they might not have the coupons now).

Ooh, I'll have to check BRU for the value packs!

Oh, and I've been buying it at Walgreens for a while now because a coupon for $7.50 off prints out every time I buy another can. Those, combined with a formula check, saves me at least $10 a can!

Re: Off brand gerber good start protect plus?

I was at Walmart yesterday and I noticed their Parent's Choice brand finally has a generic version of Goodstart. It must be pretty new because I shop there weekly and have never seen it before.

I swear I saw it! But searching on their website I am coming up with nothing. It was their Parent's Choice brand in the purple can, but I noticed it because the top was a different color (I think white or a really light blue). I looked at it and it said "Compare to Gerber Good Start Gentle Plus." I am so going back and if it is there I will take a picture. If not, I may have to eat my words!

Re: Off brand gerber good start protect plus?

Was going to list this in FFS, but I'm not registered as a FSOT shipper. So I did a search in case anyone was talking about or wanting this brand.

1 Gerber Good Start formula check, for $5, expires 7/1/12. Free to the first mama who sends me her mailing address.
