Feel babys kicks from the outside?

Just a few minutes ago I felt baby kicking for the first time so I tried to feel it from the outside. I was amazed but I could feel her kicking my hand. I had DH try and he can feel it too! Is it weird that the first kicks I feel are that strong. Maybe I felt her kick before and just didn't realize thats what it was but this is my third baby. I am 15 weeks 1 day.

I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and I have been feeling baby taps for the past couple of days, I can feel my uterus and was trying to feel baby from the outside but no luck yet! That is so exciting though, makes it really start feeling real!

lucky ducks :-) I'm 15 weeks, and any day now....I'm waiting...to be sure like Martha said earlier, "it's not followed by gas" :-) So nothing definite for me yet.

Re: Feel babys kicks from the outside?

Today for the first time I was SURE it was the baby and not gas. I have been feeling it for a week now, but wasn't sure if it was really it or not. With my other two the first movements felt like butterflies. This time it is like popcorn popping. I am too fluffy to feel from the outside yet, but I am amazed at how strong the little kicks/punches are!

I am 14 weeks, 2 days.

My first was anterior and I never did get to feel him moving.

I still can't believe it was strong enough to feel from the outside but I guess she must have been in just the right position or something. Seems crazy to me but it was definitely there. It really does make it seem much more real when you can finally feel the LO.

Are your abs split? Mine are, many moms are even if they don't know. It's not a big deal, but it does make the baby kicks easier to feel.
