If cost was not an option.....

If cost was not an option, what is your favorite diaper and why? New mama here trying to figure out what I should have in the CD collection. So far I have a mixture of new and used FB pockets, size x smal (31), small (40), med (18). BG onesize (5) I would like to try prefolds and flips.... Any recommendations. I also knit, so am willing to try fitteds with wool. What is the best diaper to use under wool?

Anything that is absorbent enough for baby will do fine under wool. I like pinned flats/prefolds. If I had all the money in the world I would probably still do flats/prefolds under wool. But the wool would be beautifully knit wool not recycled wool.

Great. Thankyou! What's your thoughts on fitted prefolds? I don't think my DH will do the pin thing :-)

Snapping Bamboozles or other bamboo fitted diaper! I loved how absorbent and easy they were to use!

honestly, I am loving my BGE's right now! I am taking a break from my flats and covers...I didn't like how the microfleece was acting....and I am using almost only BGE's.

Yep, same here. I <3 BGEs. BG 4.0s with Thirsties hemp inserts come in a close second, but we don't need stay dry anymore and I'm over stuffing pockets. We have 16 which is plenty for 2 days worth for us, but if I had no financial constraints I'd buy some of each color and print.
