When do i add bleach

I've read a lot of mamas are using bleach for their mf. Do u add it to the wash or the rinse? Its hard for me to catch my rinse cycle bc laundry is n the basement & with a 2 yo & colicky 2mo old I usually start laundry in the beginning of the day & then remember to switch it at bedtime. I suppose I could wash then later go down & add bleach & set it for a 2nd rinse.

I used to add it to the hot wash, like most mamas. Now I add it to the warm pre-wash, which is about 15-20 minutes. I always had to do a second rinse because of the smell, but if I add it first thing I don't. I let the washer start filling, add my bleach and let it fill half way before adding the diapers.

Same with me except I let the wash tub fill all the way before adding diapers.
No more extra rinses when I bleach!

I do a quickwash first, then add the bleach t the dispencer. The machine releases it directly after it drains the soapy water out. So it get's a whole wash cycle with just bleach. I use the sanitary setting.

How much bleach do u use for a full load

FL'er i use 1/4 cup, TL'er I use 3/4-1 cup. I always washed with the water level at the max on a tl'er though.
