What color trim would you suggest? UPDATE WITH PICS!

Ok, I know you ladies all loved the blue (and so did I), but I just couldn't justify ordering a custom dye for this project. So I overdyed the trim red and rusty brown semisolid and I LOVE it!!! Here are the pics of the dyed trim, plus worked up on the finished shawl. I think I am in LOVE with semi-solids!!!

I'm knitting my first FASC, and would love some suggestions for trim color. I have this yarn (MM Woodland in Spring on LT), and had bought a full skein of matching brown trim to go with it. Trouble is, I don't think the brown goes with it AT ALL! What do you think?

What color trim would you suggest? I'm thinking red or maybe blue? I only have one skein of colorway, so this will be the small size.

ETA: bonus points for anyone who can suggest a good project for 1 sk of brown trim on LT

I can see some of the brown like your trim skein on the cw skein (middle on the left) but I agree that put together like that it doesn't look like it would match.
I voted Red because from your shawl picture, it seems that red is the dominant color. If you want to contrast, then the turquoise blue would probably look good too.

I think the red or blue would look great, but I voted blue Such a pretty jewel tone, I think it would look great with it!

Normally I would say red, because it is my fav color, but there is lots of red already. I voted blue, to make the blue in the c/w pop.

I honestly would use it anyway. I think it's complimentary enough to go, and the brown will allow you to wear it as a more "neutral" piece.

I voted brown but I am not a fan of the one shown with it. I think a more solid chocolate would look nice and make it wearable with more things.

Sadly, that was what I was hoping for when I ordered the matching brown trim. I saw some lovely pics in Rav of this colorway with brown trim, but I guess the brown doesn't work great on LT.

Aww man that stinks. I would pick a jewel blue then over red(not a fan of red ) since darker brown is not an option.
