Thirsties Inserts

Has anyone just used a Thirsties insert in a Thirsties Duo Wrap, or any cover for that matter? They appear to be trimmer and more flexible then a trifolded prefold but I wonder about how absorbent they r. Wld I be btr off to just go with Flips stay dry inserts?

What are thristies made of? If it's microfiber you don't want it directly against your baby and you'd be better off with a stay-dry insert.

Its microfiber and hemp but its top with stay dry fleece. Its advertised as something to just put in the duo wrap but Ive never actually heard of it used that way.
