Diaper Swappers

I found an awesome deal on my local CL for some covers and GMD workhorses... I emailed the seller, and she said they were mine, and she would email me directions for the pick-up that evening. This was Monday, and I haven't heard back from her

. I emailed her yesterday, saying I still wanted the diapers, just needed directions... and no response. The ad is still up, though.

I really wanted/needed these diapers, and the price was perfect. But now I remember why I never bother with CL!

I'm sorry.

I recently picked up 4 covers off CL and the lady took ages! She'd only reply once a day even though I'd email her back within 10 minutes of her emailing me (if not sooner) so it took almost a week for me to even get them! Luckily I wasn't in a hurry since ds hasn't been born yet! But yea, CL is definitely slower than on here!

Yeah I don't really get why people post things they don't really want to sell. That happened to me too.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one having this problem... I was starting to think maybe I was on a "no selling" list or something

I'm still hoping she just got busy, and will respond soon. I literally need these bigger diapers, to finish DS3's new stash and get him back into cloth fulltime.

I hate that! I found 15 GMD orange edge prefolds for $15 on our local CL, and I emailed her and she said they were mine, but we had a hard time setting up a time to meet. She has emailed me and said they were still available if I wanted them and she could meet the next day, which worked for me. I emailed her right back telling her I did want them and that meeting at that time would work, and never heard from her again.

I was really bummed.

I always wonder what happens to Ms. Flaky. Does she decide not to sell? Did she find a better buyer? Did she get more for the items? Common courtesy is that she really should notify you.

I don't like Ms. Flaky.

Yeah, I hate CL. I always list my dipes there, cheaper than I would list them here, but never get any body asking about them. But I have dealt with plenty of Ms. Flaky's. I think they get a higher offer and just sell without letting you know, which stinks.

for $75 bucks! I said I would take them set up a time and then never got an email back

Maybe someone could come sooner. BUMMER
