Moderately Hard Water?

This is what my county's water website had to say about my water:
"The hardness of water is determined by the amount of dissolved
minerals, primarily, calcium and magnesium. County Water customers receive water that is categorized as moderately hard. Moderately hard water does not seriously interfere with the use of water except in high pressure steam boilers and in some industrial processes."

...and that makes no sense to me. Sorry I'm so new to this still I have yet to wash anything and I am looking into what detergent I should buy and I know some things are better for hard/soft water and I've been trying to decide what to get and realized I didn't even know what kind of water I had... lol From reading forums some people say the water is hard others say it isn't hard at all so I have no idea if I should get something good with hard water or just go with something more in the middle since I didn't think I had hard water before researching.

So basically, from that what would you recommend?

I live in an area with moderately hard water and I have a FL washer. I use Tide Free and Gentle HE Liquid and it does a good job. I always run the nighttime diaper inserts in a rinse/spin cycle with bleach, then I add the rest of the diaper laundry and run it.

Thank you for replying! I have a FL too so that would be my situation as well. :-) anyone else want to chime in?
