Diaper Swappers

My sweet little girl came into this world on February 29th, measuring in at 23 weeks and weighs 1lb 5oz and is 11.5 inches long.

I started bleeding heavily, and contracting on feb 28th (my oldest son's birthday) so I headed into labor and delivery per my doctors request. I was monitored there for a few hours and was transported by ambulance to a larger hospital that's prepared for micro preemies.

My contractions would not let off and the bleeding wouldn't slow, and thanks to a placenta abruption my sweet girl was born on leap year!

She's one day old and doing well, and while we do have a long road ahead of us, we're optimistic!

Looks like she is big for 23 weeks and she is already extubated and on CPAP. That is awesome, yes you have a long road but she looks great so far. Many prayers!! Congratulations!
