What did you do on day 4?
So we did the 3 day method, and he's not *quite* there. I switched programs on the 2nd day (Boot Camp was just not working, the eBook from 3daypottytraining.com was better), so maybe it's really day 3 now. Whatever the case, we need to get out of the house.
So what did you do on your first day of public restrooms? He's 21 months, plus a little, and he had a few successes late yesterday with telling me and making it to the potty dry, but then several incidents of totally wet pants.

We just tried to make sure we were close enough to get him in fast, brought lots of changes, and used the public toilet when he needed to. DS made it to the potty about half the time on day three, and we were out of the house a lot (yes, I know we broke the rules). But, DS uses the big potty all the time, so I'm not sure if that changes things.

DS absolutely will not sit on anything but a regular toilet, so we don't bring anything, but DS is pretty big for his age (28 months). He fell backwards into one of the potties at a store once and it freaked him out a little, but not enough to get him to sit on an insert. We actually have a pretty awesome insert that folds for travel, but he won't use it.

DS here is 24 lb, and about 31" tall, with such a teeny butt most of the underpants we can get at regular stores fall right off him. I've been looking for those folding ones, but even in a big city can't seem to find them. Amazon, I guess...
