My Mood:
playsilk/scarf edging ?

A friend wants me to finish the edges of some fabric for playsilk-type movement scarves for her 2-yr-old. But it's not really silk, it's a poly lining-type fabric.

I was thinging of trying a fake-rolled hem with my serger; would you use wooly nylon for that? in just the loopers? Or just regular cone thread?

I'm a little worried the fabric isn't stable enough to keep a serged edge, and it might pull off and fray anyway, so maybe I should just do a regular rolled hem on the sewing machine.

I'll prob just have to experiment, but thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas? thanks!
