my water is not that hot I know that people were have issues with flips and the warrenty. I use any laundary soap I can pick up at the store ex tide, gain arm in hammer. I have rocking green as I like it for stripping diapers. I also know if you have hard water that will affect the detergant.

yes softer water will affect things and the amout of detergant ext you need to use. The main thing with washing diapers is not its not a one size fits most. I do a prewash then a wash with detergant and a scop of oxi from time to time, and do a full wash as a rinse. It is what works for us I have stripped once and we have been using cloth for a little over 6 months. It seems like it took for ever to figure a wash routine that works.
