Our living room is long and narrow with the front door and opening to the dining room right in the middle so we only use half of it for the couches and TV. The other half wasn't being used so I turned that into a little learning area. It works for now but I'll have to expand when they get a little older and we have more books and need a bigger table. Our dining room is right beside so we'll probably store everything here and then work at the dining room table as well.

We just did a makeover on our room this week. we used to do school in the living room and he had a little desk and a small shelf...BUT i decided that i wanted more space so I am using my craft room in the basement.

Oh, and we are doing an ocean unit right now if you are wondering about about all the ocean theme stuff.





The little blue table with the chair is for my 2 year old. she likes to pretend she's doing school while i'm teach my DS.

Here is our space. We are using our office as our school room. This picture is our Practical Life shelf and calendar area and the kids computer.


Math and language shelves. You can see our computer too.


Their table, that shelf is going to be our Social Studies/ Geography/ Science shelf. The red shelf is our Sensorial shelf. The rolling storage cabinent houses our writing material.


Those 2 shelves have our Sensorial material on them. There is our sensory table.


This last picture is of our calendar area. You can see the dry erase board on the door.
