Any home remedies for morning sickness?

I feel like death warmed over every afternoon after eating lunch. This is when my toddler is most active, and I feel like upchucking any time I move.

I tried bread. I tried milk.

Any other hidden gems I would try. I am curled up in the fetal position on my couch with ds in the pack n play with that fisher price sing and play dog

Ginger any way you can take it.....tea gum or herbal suppliment pill.Vitamin b6(be careful you can have to much) if you go to walgreens they actually have an anti nausea section. Some people swear by sea bands but my nausea was to severe.it did take the edge off a bit though.

I was going to say ginger too. I am also a fan of tums (ok not natural) and eating small amounts all day. Also if you have any way to get more rest that might help. For me I am always sicker when I am tired.

Ginger ale was my best friend! If I sipped on it throughout the day it made things much more maneagable!

I also munched on dried pineapple through the day. Not sure why that helped but it did.

My cousin lives in CA and sent me some ginger hard candies. I've never seen them before or since (I can't recall the name) but they were helpful when I didn't have a soda to help.

I use ginger pills when I travel for my motion sickness too. They work SO much better than dramamine!

also take vit B complex. It's been shown to help morning sickness and help prevent colic in the baby

I drank a lot of ginger tea and it helped. You can also eat/suck on candied ginger. Peppermint is another tummy soother. Peppermint tea or sucker candies help.

And for me, peanut butter. Go figure.

Re: Any home remedies for morning sickness?

honestly, whatever sounds good, I would try. I do ginger ale in the beginning and then it starts to gross me out, so I switch to caffeine free coke. Or lemonade and potato chips. It's the salty/sweet/sour that helps me. sour candies....whatever my mind says sounds good, I just go ahead and try it!

If you're willing to go with mainstream meds, I say zofran. It is literally a lifesaver for me! I was horribly sick with my son and that's the only way I could move from the bathroom floor. This time around I only seem to need one pill in the afternoon (vs one ever 4-6 hrs the first time around).
Also vitamin b6 3 times a day helps tons too... Hope you start feeling better soon

I sucked on peppermint candies all day long sometimes. I felt bad for my teeth, but at least I wasn't throwing up. Constantly sipping on ice water throughout the day helped me, too, anything to keep my belly from feeling too empty.
