Re: Anyone planning your diapers for next baby?

I feel like I just got done diapering a newborn as DS2 is only 6mo! (actually will be 6mo tomorrow, aww...)

I actually sold all my nb cloth after he outgrew it. I had tons too, but I decided when we have a third I would use dispoables until he/she could fit into our huge stash of BGEs (DS2 could fit into them just fine by 6wks old). My mom will buy us a few packs of disposables since she will be here for a couple weeks helping out after this LO is born so it won't be too much money out of our pocket. I hate spending money on things I throw away, but since we might still have DS1 in diapers I will not be able to stay on top of diaper laundry if I had a newbie in diapers too!

Re: Anyone planning your diapers for next baby?

But wanted to add what nb diapers I did like...newborn mutts are awesome! Also liked newborn snickelfritz fitteds, but they are made by a WOHM that is no longer making them so you will only find them on FSOT if you're lucky. They fit a newborn with the stump still on so well! Covers I liked were sized Thirsties and the duo size 1 as well. For AIOs I liked BGs, but did not like GroVia.

It's tidytushees.ca. They don't have anything listed right now, but I emailed them to see if they still sell their used ones. They were made in Canada cotton/hemp fitteds with snaps. If you just check their site often, something should come up.

Re: Anyone planning your diapers for next baby?

I have a small stash of nb B4's, plus newborn pf's. My dh is another one who will use cloth if it's easy. I want to get a few lil' joey's to help him even more.

I really really don't want to have 3 in diapers, but ds2 is having a heck of a time pl'ing. DD will still be in diapers for sure.

Alva does newborn pockets? Where can I see those? Where was/is the coop?
I have a bunch of Alva for DD as day diapers and I really like them. I would love to find a few newborn size ones though because the OS would be very big on a newbie.

Re: Anyone planning your diapers for next baby?

Oh yes, I've been planning/thinking about this for a while. I tried prefolds with DD and it didn't work for us. I had only 3 fitteds and 3 AIO at the time and we liked those but I just didn't have enough. So we used sposies until DD fit into the BGOS.
So, for this little one I plan on using fitteds and woolies, but I will need a whole bunch of AIO or AI2 for DH. I don't want to deal with stuffing pockets. I'll have enough laundry as it is.

Re: Anyone planning your diapers for next baby?

I sold my entire newborn/small stash once we decided DS3 was the last baby . So I have to start all over... I like to use prefolds and covers, or GMD workhorses and covers, around the house. For bedtime and outings I like Fuzzibunz and BGs.

I'm honestly stressed out about buying diapers this time. DH graduates and will have a job come August, so we'll be able to afford everything then, but I hate waiting! And I hate that I sold my entire stash, for super cheap!
