Regression???
We sorta did the 3 day method combined with my own methods around the end of December. DS has done great to the point that he is in underwear full time (except for naps and nighttime.) He goes to daycare, church, shopping, etc in undies and uses public toilets. All of a sudden he is having major accidents.
Just this morning I dropped him off at DC and while I was standing there talking to DCP he had an accident. She just messaged me to say he had another accident. He also had one this weekend. What gives? There have not been any major changes like moving, or job changes or anything. I'm expecting, but we haven't even told the kids yet. Any ideas to get him back on track? He has done so well and he LIKES to be in underwear.

We did the 3-day with DS last month, and he was to the point of no accidents and just saying 'I have to pee!' when he needed to go. Then last week out of the blue he had all accidents one day. I think his molars are coming in and he's not sleeping well, so he's getting tired, and the more tired he is the more accidents he has. But that's just my going theory, lol. We've dealt with it by just going back to reminding him more to let us know if he has to go, and encouraging him to go frequently when he's tired (with limited success).

Re: Regression???
DS is in the same boat, not an accident, then last week he had 2. He never has them at home even overnight. I have no idea what is going on, we just remind him a lot and when I drop him off at DC I remind him to tell the teachers when he needs to go.
I'm also tempted to go back to his special treats as rewards, gummi bears. I don't like giving food as a 'treat' like that but it worked before and he is food motivated .GL! |

Re: Regression???
We went back to treats, but only when he asks. He doesn't always remember to ask and that is fine with me. We also went back to making a big deal out of it when he does go, singing songs, giving fist bumps, etc. That has seemed to help.
