I should try the gum thing! I'm starting to gag at the taste of tums and haven't got to the store for zantac yet

After spending most all day in extreame pain, I finally called the Dr and they said to take Pepcid. Tums didn't do one thing for me and I even took Tylenol because the pain was into my shoulder and going down into my elbow. That didn't do anything either. I wasn't 100% sure it was heartburn, but thought it was. My DH was bringing home the Pepcid after work. I tried the chocolate milk thing and it worked until he got here. So far the Pepcid is working wonders. Other then being worn out from feeling so bad yesterday, I'm feeling much better today!

Aloe Vera juice helps a ton. It is safe in small amounts, some will say its not because there is something called "aloin" in it, but all of the aloe juice sold in the us is not allowed to have it in it. (The aloin was said to increase pre-term labor and miscarriage). With that said I take a little drink (inner filet aloe juice) before dinner and I swear it helps! My midwife is the one who told me to do it too. Good luck..I understand I'm a heartburn queen when pregnant!

The only thing that helps my heartburn is cutting out grains. I don't know what it is, but grains really do a number on me.

I think I may try the gum and almond ones. I crave chocolate covered almonds all the time anyway
