Why does she think you will fail the GBS test? Are there risk factors or something? (curious because mine is next week)

Crunch sorry for your awful night!

Lindsay wow I wonder if your time will come soon. I get painful contractions a few of them a night and dh always tells me to wake him up for them but I never do.

AFM: I can't do anything without getting BH and breathless. It is SO annoying. I wanted to go walk today but I don't think I can. I don't understand why I am so pathetic this early.

Computermama -

Aparently your subconscious thinks it's the end of the world! I dreamt I own a salt shop. Ya... A shop that sold salts. Most of the salts looked like chocolates and I was sitting in my shop one day and thought I've always wanted to be a chocolatier (even though I don't like it that much since my pregnancy with DD). So I found an investor to open a bigger place that sold ice cream and the walls were covered in cool looking chocolates. Oh and I was pregnant in my dream and someone was smoking in my shop and he got an ear full

I don't remember the sensation of DD dropping though I never waddle or felt a bowling bowl sensation. Do breech babies 'drop'?

ashayla&acensmom-

Praying for you and baby. Keep us updated.

Good luck with the rain boots! I happened to get two pairs for $2 EACH last month! They were the last ones from last season apparently. There's a larger size that are blue camo and the lady ringing me up was saying that this LO could be a boy so it's good I'm getting them Um... It doesn't bother me one bit to put DD in blue camo rain boots when they fit her. They don't need to be pink with flowers. Perhaps I missed the etiquette class on boys can only wear blue and green and girls can only be seen wearing pink and purple.

No BH, baby breech, no booster, no birth kit, DH has stomach flu, exhausted depsite sleeping, house needs cleaning. I did get a tub of pure lanolin in the mail, only $6 for 1/4lb off ebay so that was exciting. Been swimming, tried the whole headstands in the water thing to get baby to turn. Um... I will NOT be doing that again, I'm sure I looked like a floundering seal. And LO is kicking my cervix and butt nerves really hard it wakes me OW!

I never had the dropping sensation with DS, though people swore I 'dropped'?? And my boss is telling me I've dropped now, but I have no sensations that he has.

LOL!!! I couldn't imagine trying to stand on my head underwater. What a sight! DS is head down, but his kicks can REALLY hurt too!!

Re: Weekly Chat March 13-20th

She thinks I will fail because I had a UTI - strep in my urine at the beginning of the pregnancy and it is probably still there? I hope I can get away with not needing a needle =( but I will do antibiotics if I have to.

Boots were a success - though expensive..I WISH I could find them for 2$ - dd got a super pink pair that were 16 and I bought a pair for me that were 19$ - we have a LOT of snow still which has all been melting so the roads/lawns/etc are all flooding. We ended up having to drive all the way out to walmart.

This babe apparently has a super bony butt but is definitely head down.

People told me I dropped with DD, but she was transverse right through until the minute they cut me open. This time I can feel it. I think there's far too many armchair midwives out there. I've had people tell me definitively that I'm having twins too. Sorry dear, but I really don't think with the number of ultrasounds I've had they could have missed a second fetus.

Computermama -

I've read birth stories of women that get ultrasounds and there's a surprise baby in there!

I also had a UTI beginning of pregnancy, which is one of the reasons why my mw tested me so early for GBS. It's a seperate test that the doctor will do to check if it's in your urine, which is much more difficult to get rid of. My mw says she's seen success getting rid of it with the hibiclens wash after going #2 (wash all over) and GFSE max strength capsules 3x/day. With women that it's not working, which she said is about 10% she has them up the GFSE to 6 capsules a day and that does it.

$16 & 19 is good for boots. Those ones I got for $2 were $30 marked down on clearance to $12 and pulled up on the register for $2. Thought I was getting a pretty good deal at $12. And womens boots? $40-80 for rubber boots are you kidding me?! Where did you get yours for $19??

Oh good more things to buy/potions to take..bah I need a magic money fairy this week..dp doesn't get paid until next Thursday.

I got them at Walmart - their selection was scarce..I know they probably aren't good quality or anything but really I don't plan on wearing rainboots very often or for long periods so I didn't want to spend a lot - plus they are cute, comfy, & SLIP ON!! Stupid winter boots that TIE up..I liked my early July baby where shoes were not necessary at this point.

Re: Weekly Chat March 13-20th

I had my 36 week check up, and had a chance to talk to my dr about the Cholistasis. My meds are working well on controlling my itching, had another blood test to make sure it is still bringing my counts down. So far, so good! He will be checking my cervix next week, and if favorable we will induce around 38 weeks. He is afraid that if I am not ready, I will have a csection.. neither of us want that, yet I fear the unknown of going past 38 weeks with Cholistasis Just hoping that my counts stay in the normal range, and I get a healthy little bundle in a few weeks! Kinda worried that he/she will not fit in the Kissaluvs right away... I don't want to have to buy sposies! PLUS... I have been staring at these adorable diapers for WEEKS (ok, Months...) We are close!

Yeah, but 4 separate ultrasounds done by multiple techs? I'm thinking not.
