Heartburn

My last two pregnancies I pretty much never got heartburn (maybe 5 times combined) This pregnancy I get it almost everytime I eat. Now my dumb question of the day. Can you get heartburn just from smelling certain foods? Because out of nowhere I just got heartburn, and I havn't eaten anything in 4 hours. I have a meal in the slow cooker, very fragrant, and I took a big inhale, and now heartburn. Coincidence or not? (maybe I'll get a baby with hair? haha)

I get heartburn if I get too hungry. Weirdly enough, the best cure for me is a little piece of dark chocolate! I've heard other people say chocolate causes heartburn, but for me it works like a charm!

Not sure on breathing it in, but milk did wonders for mine.

makes sense to me - when you smell food you start to salivate, thus you start swallowing saliva, and might get some heartburn.

when the tums quit working, zantac did wonders for me. and my baby came out with tons of hair
