Another Stinkie Wash Question

I had been using Tide but have been having issues with stink. I received a sample of RNG and it worked! So I purchased a bag and have been working on stripping my dippies.
The problem I'm running into is with toddler DD's dippies. For some reason the ones she's pooped in are holding onto the smell.

I rinsed cold, soaked in cold RNG for a couple hrs, washed, then washed on hot with more RNG and cold rinse. Two dippies and thier inserts still reek.

And I know its not just fiber related. One is a FB OS hemp w/ a baby kicks and mf insert. The other is a BG OS with bamboo inserts and fleece.

Suggestions pls

I use RNG too and with my toddler's dirty diapers I started running into stink problems too. After some trial and error and much research I found out that most clean rinsing detergents don't have enzymes to break down dirty stuff. So now I use Bac-out in the prewash cycle. It's amazing for breaking down waste!!
So my cleaning cycles are:
1. Bac-out prewash on warm every so often. If no Bac-out then I add vinegar to prewash to pH balance the ammonia ( I have a heavy wetter)
2. Wash on hot with RNG and I add borax ( I have hard water so I use it to soften water and it disinfects!)
3.After rinse cycle I start another cold wash/rinse cycle to get a really good rinse. My washer doesn't have extra rinse cycle.

Is there something I could use that is similar to bac out? Im on a very tight budget and really do not have the funds to buy more detergent at the moment.

Re: Another Stinkie Wash Question

The only routine we've found that works for our toddler is:
Cold rinse with vinegar and usually a little bit of blue Dawn (kind of a mini-strip almost every time we wash)
Hot wash with plenty of RNG - we have really hard water, so I actually use a little more than the package says. If they're really stinky, I'll sometimes use a splash of bleach, too.
Another hot wash cycle to be sure no soap residue is left behind.

thanks im going to try this, i was thinking of dawn. I never really figured the wash routine when DS was still in diapers. So now I'm just encountering the same thing I did a year ago.

dirtmagnets, what type of washer do you have? And how often do you think you use bleach? Have you noticed it harming the diapers after awhile?
