Do you know which DTaP he got? There are, I believe, 3 versions. My DD had a TERRIBLE rxn to the GlaxoSmithKline version (can't remember the name), but has only minor issues (fever, soreness, redness at site) from Sanofi-Pasteur's Daptacel, so that is the one I insist that both of my kids get.

Arm swelled so much was red, hot, tender and had a fever for 3 years. No more dtap for him!!
I've had 4 docs tell me that Daptacel is the least reactive of the DTaPs, and that has def been my experience. Just something to think about if you want to get any more DTaPs for your LOs. I, however, understand if you don't want to do any DTaPs anymore; that's how I feel after my DD's rxn to rotovirus.
