Remember the ripping and tearing of the boingos? Have those problems been resolved? I'd like to order some but I'm afraid of running into those problems.

I don't know if they have yet but I read on a post a few days ago that they were coming out with a new silicone version soon. Maybe someone who knows more will chime in for you soon...

I've also read that it happened to less than 5%, which IMHO is well withing a reasonable margin of error in production, and they were replaced readily. I would be confident buying again if I ever used what I have, but I have not been using my PFs or flats much with DS like I did with DD.

my original boingos did not rip. The new ones are made of a completely different material, silicone, which is much stronger.

What were the old ones made of? I have a pair of what I presume are old ones - but not used yet since baby isn't here yet. It seems somewhat like silicone - but perhaps less strechy.
