Re: Coming Home and Already Home Outfits

Those of you who are bringing newborn and size 0-3, how big are you thinking your babies will be!?! My last was 9lbs. 1oz, and he was still able to wear newborn size in the hospital and his coming home outfit. Granted, he out grew newborn size very quickly, but he was able to wear newborn in the beginning!

Re: Coming Home and Already Home Outfits

I will probably bring preemie and newborn clothes... my last was 5lbs 11oz and fit in preemie outfit I brough but was a feeted PJ thing and he was just about to long for it... but with this one and summer I'm thinking of this little all in one shorts thing in a newborn... but tossing in a preemie onsie or something in preemie.. I expect him to be a little bigger so depending on if he is or not he is right on that edge of being preemie vs. newborn.... definaltly won't do 0-3 as none of have been over 6lbs at birth...

My last was 10 lbs, and she did not fit into newborn stuff...I'm not fully expecting another sumo baby due to me not putting on weight and eating so few calories, but you never know..so I'm just trying to be prepared..haha..

our bring home outfit is preemie. I will pack a newborn just in case but preemie has fit everyone so far.

Yeah, I can't fathom a big baby.....it would be fun though! I'm looking for newborn size and hoping it will fit!

ETA: Might throw in a preemie outfit too just in case.

Re: Coming Home and Already Home Outfits

Dd was only 8lbs 3oz but too big for the really cute nb sleepers we had brought her (granted she lost some weight in the hospital and was able to wear my favourite one for a few hours before outgrowing it again).

I'm having a homebirth so I'll already be home I guess it depends on what time of day baby comes. If its middle of the night, a long sleeved onesie and socks is what it'll be. Daytime, I haven't decided. Nothing fancy.

My last was 8lbs 13 oz and fit into nb just fine. The two coming home outfits I have are both gowns so nb should fit perfectly!

Re: Coming Home and Already Home Outfits

DD wore a 0-3 month size Virginia Tech jumper, so I'm looking for something VT for this baby, too. I have some sleepers in 0-3, but they look so big! With the jumper, we had to tuck the extra around her for the pictures.
