Drying cloth diapers outside overnight???

My diapers are being difficult today and requiring extra washing time. Due to this I won't get them out on the line to dry. I can hang them in my laundry room but it's a serious pain and takes forever.

Had anyone left their diapers on the line overnight?? There is no chance of rain in the forecast here.

my iPhone tries to read my mind...and it's usually off

Re: Drying cloth diapers outside overnight???

I did it inadvertently one night when I forgot I had them out there -- OOPS. I had no issues and they were dry the next morning, maybe a little more stiff.

I use to do this all the time. I never had an issue.

I hang mine up overnight all the time, but it's inside in a very warm room. I don't know if I'd leave them outside overnight, at least not in our cold climate - we had snow a few days ago, and get lots of dew/moisture overnight.

Ideally this won't happen often. I checked them a few minutes ago...most of the pockets are dry except the bamboo ones...but the inserts and prefolds aren't dry at all...

It was 82 here today...unseasonably warm.

Yup, I do this all the time in the summer, too! Usually because I forget.

I've done it before because I've forgotten to bring them in. I live in a pretty humid area though and there was so much dew that they weren't dry, even though I put them out there early the morning before.

Re: Drying cloth diapers outside overnight???

I do that all the time in the summer. On purpose. I do an evening load of laundry and hang it up before bed. It's great because then by the time I get around to getting it in the morning it's dry since the sun is up hours before I am outside to get it.

I don't hang outside in the winter because it rains every day....

I do it with flats all the time. Works great! (no risk of frost here...)

A mom on these boards had her diapers stolen right off the line. That would be a consideration here as well.

One of my favorite things about line drying is that the sun bleaches out any stains for me.

Sent from iPhone which is out to get me for some reason that is unbeknownst to me. Via DS Forum. Currently ISO 6 Small BG AIOs in pastel colors, triple switched GMs, Boyish Mutt 3SR, AhMay sets, YN Munki Sushi, Thirsties Colored PFs
