New sun baby inserts?

I just received my shipment of Sunbabies today. I ordered 12 with inserts. 8 of the inserts were the normal microfiber that I would expect, but 4 were something different. I am wondering what the heck it could be. It is off-white/tan and smooth feeling (not the fluffy microfiber texture). It is kind of jersey knit is the best I can describe it and VERY thin. Any ideas?

Yep....bamboo. I love my bamboo Kawaii inserts. Let me know how you like the Sunbabys!

Re: New sun baby inserts?

Thanks ladies! I knew you could help! Now, a potentially stupid question: I can't use those bamboo inserts by themselves can I? They just seem way too thin-- like they would work better as doublers. Or maybe is it not a good idea to use any of her inserts one at a time? They seem slightly smaller than my BG inserts. I was only planning on using one at a time, as that's what I normally do with my BG and Flips. My DD is not a heavy wetter and I only every use a doubler overnight, and even then she probably would be fine without it.

If she's not a heavy wetter, you can for sure get away with using one. You'll be suprised on how much they hold. Make sure they are prepped well. They absorb much better after multiple washes.
