Cheapest mama cloth that isn't horrible?

Hey mamas,

The home we rent was destroyed by a fire a couple of weeks ago when the plumber started the wall on fire and it quickly spread

Thank goodness, no one was hurt, and thank goodness we had renter's insurance to cover replacement cost on the personal belongings we lost. But, I was too embarassed to send my mama cloth to the restoration company working on our clothing and other fabrics, and I was also too embarrassed to list them on my nonsalvage list for replacement

Most of it I had made over the years, but things are a nightmare over here trying to deal with all of this and with DH and I both working FT... I am never going to find the time to sew a whole new stash. But I do need some light ones to use for pantiliners sooner than later, and maybe a few regulars as I suspect PPAF is not that far off... where do you recommend? At this time, cheap is more important than quality.

How are her liners quality-wise too? I've heard good things and was thinking about trying some.

My sister uses GEM as well, and she really loves them.

I was looking at her site last night (not her HAHM thread, her actual site) and she has ready to ship sets in stock right now

I would recommend GEM or The Silver Liner.

And I'm so sorry about the fire! I'm glad you and your family weren't hurt.

Oh dear, I was gonna recommend Gemcloth too, I have her liners, ruby regulars, and ruby heavys....they are WONDERFUL! Just had my first PP AF last week, and got to use them for the first time, I am in LOVE! Could you maybe ask to get on her list for AF pads but purchase liners from somewhere else in the meantime? I would offer to make you some that are wool-backed, but mine aren't tested, and I only have flannel, no OBV or OCV
