We reserve ours for frozen applesause cubes when he's teething. It rinses clean and goes through ou dishwasher anf our he front loaded washing machine just fine.

The only time I used mine with DS was for teething. I would put an icecube in it for him to chew on. As he got older I would put some frozen juice in for a little popsicle. MIL would give them to him with fruit in and it was always such a HUGE mess! I probably won't even use them with DD this time around

My baby loves this thing. I put some banana in there once and never again. Now I just give her frozen peach slices or mango chunks I buy at whole foods. I have a different brand. I bought it at babies r us a few yr ago. It has a white handle and green screw on ring. The mesh is replaceable. I like the idea of the one with silicone. I'm gonna check that one out.
