I scraped up the inside of my leg pretty bad and really hurt my pelvic bone, I can't lift my legs at all. Sleeping last night was near impossible oh my gosh. I hurt so bad. I guess I should be a bit more careful
Oh no! That has to be really painful! I hope you start feeling better.

QOTW: I spent the most on diapers. About $150. But we got a 200 dollar crib as a gift. We are sidecarring it for now, hoping that it works out.

AFM: contrax this morning that were enough to alarm me but went away. phew! and lots of BH when I do any kind of movement. I am all about some pre labor action and getting some of the work done before I go into labor. Also I think I have my answer as to can DD2 hang out while I labor. the answer is NO!

I was trying to relax through the contrax this morning as she is screaming at me, pulling on my arm wanting her shoes on, a cracker, a drink, me to read to her... yeah relaxing wasn't happening. She has been extra needy lately and I totally understand and try to accommodate but during labor I don't' see it happening like it needs to.

AQOTW: The items I spent the most on are DEF the diaper stash. I was given a lot of the main ticket items, or found for REALLY cheap (since I sold EVERYTHING a month before finding out that I was pregnant). I am not going to have to spend a whole lot more than I already did, though (on diapers for when lo gets bigger). I plan on selling as he/she grows out if items to pay for more I planned it out well to use prefolds when he/she grows out of the KL0 and other fitteds, I have the next step up covers and prefolds as well as Pockets

Getting really excited for my induction on Monday.. not TOO nervous, but worried that I wont have time to get everything done this weekend. My kids have off school tomorrow, and I have my Aunts funeral on Sat (which is almost an all day thing with family). Sunday is church and we will be attempting to finish house cleaning. DH took off work Mon-Wed so I will have some help (although I will be in the hospital till prolly Tuesday)

Just had my 36 week appointment...Baby sounds great and is head down at +1! So happy right now. This is the point that I found out that DS was breech last time. I think that being at +1 we don't need to worry too much about him turning around too much in there!

Re: weekly chat March 22-25

My biggest purchase will be diapers - I am splurging as we don't need anything else =) I am planning on doing an order by the first week of April for around 200$ - I need new wet pail liners as well as some covers and a few bge's! and then I am sure with earth day sales I will be buying one or two capri covers!

I am so wiped out right now and my house is a MESS! I am really trying to care and get up.

Yesterday I took dd to Ottawa to a children's museum - 2 hr drive each way, went with a friend with her two kids, was certainly an adventure. I was SO swollen when I got home.

Today I went on an adventure with dd - we went to the chiro, the oeyc (kids play group type thing), the library, giant tiger, the PO, the grocery store and a health store to get some probiotics...I am SO glad we live 2 blocks away from the core of this town - makes not having a car during the day so much easier. We came home and made some lunch, now I really should clean up a bit and make crepe batter for dp.

I work from 5-11 tonight and just want to go to bed. Tomorrow I am making dp take dd to the oeyc birthday party - think 40-50 kids 0-6 playing in a gym for 2 hrs - my shift at work changed but I am just not going to mention that so I will have an hour in an empty house before I start! I really, really need to get caught back up on things - I wish I had more than one day of notice about starting work again as I will likely just continue until I have this kid. My house needs some tlc.

Re: weekly chat March 22-25

i picked up the house alot yesterday...cleared off counter space and had dd1 help pickup toys ...soo glad i did...but by now you cant really tell i did anything yesterday...its a lossing battle around here...

last night the ladies of the church threw us a baby shower...it was ALOT of fun and we had a good turn out...got a ton of cute stuff...but sooo glad that the clothes were all different sizes! i mean we got newborn -24 months stuff!! several packages of diapers (sposies...but i am sure that they will come in handy at some point or i might save them and give as gifts to others mamas who don't CD...i did get one cloth diaper that MIL made and she finished teh 22 cloth wipes that i had started...they needed to be ironed and top stiched so she did that for me and also made several blankets out of some material that I had on hand...my mother made teh baby's blanket, and lap blanket and a lovey..well i made the lovey but she gave it at the shower....the two big ticket items we got were a bouncer (this thing has suto bouce on it...kinda cool) and a travel swing that the car seat will sit on...its just the frame work and then you place the carseat on it...sooo gonna put that in the back of the suburban and have it with us everywhere we go...other than that we got tons of cute outfits and some bath items, soap, lotion, towels, wash rags...a few other cute odd and ends...in all it was a great shower...oh and in Gift cards and cash we got $165...sooo gonna use that to buy a few more cloth diapers!! yay!!

Re: weekly chat March 22-25

Bridget glad the shower was fun! Yay for more diaper money =)

My house is now tidy again, I also wrote dp a please help mommy Friday and Saturday list as I was severely stressed. I did not make crepe batter for him as I just didn't want to deal with the mess - he did it when he got home so they are eating a late dinner and dd agreed to go straight to bed after (it has to sit in the fridge for an hour before being cooked) he has her out rollerskating right now.

Turns out he gets to take a random day off next week with full pay - too bad I don't have a mw appointment next week. If he doesn't use it by the 31st it is gone, I think I am having him take Wednesday off.

He will be taking 2 weeks off when we have the baby, what are your partners doing? With dd I had him home for almost 2 months.

Re: weekly chat March 22-25

Well... next week at my 39wk5d appointment I'm getting my cervix checked and if its favorable, mw will strip my membranes. Except her definition of "favorable" means 2-3 cm dilated... so... well.. I guess I can expect to stay pregnant for awhile longer, because there's no way I'm dilated. Boo

DH is taking probably 5days off, depending on what day of the week I have baby, if I have a csection, etc.

How do you know you aren't dilated? With dd I was 2-3cm for weeks before she was born, 4 when I got to the hospital and had her less than 2 hrs later - I couldn't feel dilation at all. This time I'm not getting checked until 41 weeks at the earliest (had dd at 39+2).

Re: weekly chat March 22-25

My DH has 2 weeks of paid paternal leave, but he'll probably only take just a few days of that depending on what day of the week the baby arrives. We want to be sure he has days to use when DS2 has his surgeries for the cleft(s), and we will be taking a trip to Cincinnati shortly after DS is born to check out the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Someone in HR also told him that in addition to the 2 weeks, he can take up to 3 days off for family issues without reporting it as days off as long as he clears it with his immediate supervisor! He has at least 2 weeks vacation, too, so I think he'll have plenty of time to be with us as needed!!
