Question How does this sound?

I am wanting to CD my new little boy that's due in July. I have my cart filled with the following items. Would this be OK to start out? I want some fitteds but I'm holding off in hopes of finding some on FSOT. I also plan on getting some flour sack towels to try as flats (I actually have 3 now, as I used to use them for my hair). I know I'm a little lean on the prefolds but this probably will only be my testing out stash.

24 Small Imagine smartfit prefolds
2 Thirsties Duo Sz 1 covers
2 Swaddlebees Capri Sz 1 Covers
2 Imagine Covers
1 pail liner
3 Snappis

Could I get by with one or two less covers? I'm planning on knitting some soakers/longies.

My 2 girls have both been in the upper 7lbs range, so I'm guessing little man will follow suit (the girls were within 1 oz of each other weight-wise.) I'm aiming for the most bang for my buck, hence the OS/2 size covers.

I would definitely buy one more pail liner and a couple wet bags for diaper bag. Also recommend, of you aren't already doing so, to purchase cloth wipes; 36 should allow you to wash every other day.

Sent from my iPhone. I know how to spell, but it does not.

Yep you are light on the prefolds I would get a few workhorse fitteds, and maybe a few 'easy' dipes like Thirsties duos or xs BGs. And like the pp said another pail liner, a few wetbags and cloth wipes.

I think that looks great, especially if you are planning to add in some FSOT fitteds. I would do LESS covers if you are planning on doing wool. Minimum you want 6-8 covers total. So maybe you could do 2 Thirsties, 1 Capri, 1 Imagine and then knit 4 pieces?

Congrats on your new LO, by the way!

I would say one more cover, and maybe a dozen more prefolds. Also two wetbags, one to take with you when your out and another to use when the pail liner is in the wash :-)
