Weight Loss Thread

I suppose I could start one of these since I didn't see one. Right before I delivered DD I weighed 190. Right now I'm down to 172. HOPING to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 145-150. But REALLY hoping to tone some muscles. I have horrendous love handles and some rolls in my back that are bothering me SO much!!

If I start working, I will be doing a gym membership. If not, I'll be saving money and working out from home. Still haven't decided if I should invest in a DVD exercise program, or just do a music workout from some exercise ideas online. Definitely need to tone, though!

I weighed 159 three days before having M. I lost quickly with dd1 so I'm just taking it as it comes right now. IDK what I weigh now, maybe mil can bring her scales over because I don't have any. Actually with dd1 I lost below my pre-pregnancy weight before she was a year - that was rough and I hope to not lose that much this time.

Re: Weight Loss Thread

I think I got to 180 this time(could never bring myself to look at the scale the last few wks of the pregnancy!)! I'll be weighing myself on Wednesday to see how much I've lost...I'm REALLY scared that it won't be that much! With DS3, whom I BF, I didn't loose much weight at all until I weaned him....I'm hoping that isn't the case this time!!

I'm down about 20-25lbs. I was a vegan when I got pregnant so I'm not sure I could lose those remaining 20 unless I went vegan again and since we just bought a 1/4th of a cow I'm pretty sure that's not an option! Someone had to eat her share of grass fed beef!

I'm okay with where I'm at though so its not a huge deal to me if I don't make it back to my pre-preg weight.

Re: Weight Loss Thread

I have 22lbs to lose to get back to my ore pregnancy weight. After that I still want to lose another 20 as I was in the process of dieting when I got pregnant.

I am starting weight watchers at 6 weeks post partum (I am 3 weeks now)

Re: Weight Loss Thread

I was 185-186 pre-pregnancy, got up to 197 at delivery and am 177 thirteen days pp. The doc has given me strict instructions not to start exercising/dieting until after my 6w check up, so I'll probably gain at least up to my pre-pregnancy weight. Hopefully I can start WW or HMR and an exercise program after that. I don't want to be heavy like I was after I had my son. Just not sure if I want to join a Mommy&me exercise group or just go to the Y and work out. My goal is to get down to between 130-145, anywhere in there will make me very happy.

Before I has DS2 I was roughly 170 weighed myself the other day and am 147. Would like to get back to the 130-135 range. Not too worried tho. Mainly want to get the belly back in shape. DS2 was born the 17th.

Five days pp and I've lost 13lbs. Most of that was an 8.5 lb baby though.

This was me exactly! 13 pounds in 5 days. 8 days pp it's 15 pounds, so slowly it's coming off.
When he was born I had the same reaction as with my first- what do you mean 7 pounds?! I thought I'd have a LITTLE less to lose, lol!

I gain ALL OVER when I'm pregnant, so nothing fits other than stretchy shirts. no pants, no skirts...ugh. But I don't want to buy much because I don't know where I'm going to settle...I would like to get to 130. The lowest I got before my daughter was born was 125.
