Unless there was a gusher when you laid down (hell...even on the floor), I would wait, since you're going anyways. But that's me. If you're pretty crampy, it really might be the real deal.
It's 10:59am. I've been sitting at my desk for the last half hour or so with no leaking, probably because the baby is corking things up, LOL. Minor/crampy contractions about every 15-20 minutes. I think I'm going to finish up the three things I'm working on and go home to lie down. I'll keep you ladies updated!

Thank you!

Re: Leaking fluid?

My water has broken on it's own 3 times and every time was different...I've had the slow trickle kind where I wondered if that's what it was, but even though that was with my first and I had no clue, something told me this was not urine leakage, this was different :-) I would get checked out just to know for sure...but it sure sounds like your water has broken! If so, good luck and may have you have an amazing labor experience! :-)

If you were diagnosed with cholestasis, you very well could be in labor.. I almost forgot that you are one of the ladies in our group that mentioned that!

Re: Leaking fluid?

Well when mine broke with ds it was just small amounts until we drove to the hospital. It was a 40 min drive and no leaking until I got the hospital - when I stepped out of the car it was like a freaking waterfall lol.

I would go in just to be safe. I didn't have any contractions for hours after mine broke so I don't think you can really go by that. Make sure you let us know!!

DS2, Samuel Jay, was born at 2:45pm at 36w6d, after 2 total hours of labor. 6lbs 9.8oz, 18" long.

No time for any pain meds, LOL.
