Is this normal?

My 10 (almost 11) month old has cut back on day time nursing. He mostly nurses in the mornings and before bed. During the day he eats baby foods and what ever we eat during the day. Is this okay?

Until after their first birthday babies should still be getting about 95% of their calories from bm (or formula).

My DD cut way back at 10 months, as well. I would offer and she'd snack a bit and want to go back to playing. Sounds normal to me

As long as your LO continues to have enough wet diapers (4-5 in 24 hours) it's probably fine. Is she getting at least 5-6 good bf sessions per 24 hours?

Thanks ladies! He's still having enough pee and poo diapers and nurses about 5 times a day. I guess it's fine. Is he self weaning?

I thought it was very informative and I'm glad I read it, because I would really like to ebf my little one as long possible - and this article gives lots of advice on what kinds of things to watch for to make sure you can continue your bf relationship with your very young baby.
