Anyone change up stashes between babies...

and regret it? loved it?

Thankfully I'm getting a diaper break, dd is potty training, so all her bgos and bge's are in a box in the closet right now. I'm just so darn sick of them; they are in good shape and could resell well, but still at a loss of course.

Not sure what I'd replace them with. BG's are not perfect, but they are very reliable and work well.

The thing is, they literally make me nauseous to look at...b/c of all the diaper changing during my worst morning sickness...even clean diapers have a certain smell (just the fabric--not stinky, but you know how a pregnancy nose is). I have a pair of expensive shoes I wore during my first trimester of ds and I still can't bring myself to wear them.

Anyone else purge diapers between babies? Just curious!

yes! Even if its an emotional decision, not a logical one. Somtimes its just nice to get rid of the old and in with the new!

Re: Anyone change up stashes between babies...

I've been thinking about it! Although, I would likely just add to what we have rather than destash since DD is still in diapers and probably will be for a little while. Then I will destash what I are my least favorites once she is out of diapers and I do not need as many.

I currently use mostly Kawaii's and GroVia AIOs. Our BGs are sidelined due to DD's sensitivity to suedecloth. I like the idea of trying something new for DD#2.

I did! I went from prefolds to pockets between #3 and #4, then back to prefolds for #5 then to flats for #6 and back to pockets for #7. I think change keeps it fun!

I've changed completely different diapers. With DD I used lots of pockets like Swaddlebees, FB and BG. I had a lot of RR, Kawaii and SoftBums. Then I realized I hate microfiber and so does my daughter's bum. So I switched everything to natural fibers like Grovia, Swaddlebees Simplex, Peachy Green and Bottombumpers. I have a few Itti Bitti too.
With DS due in two weeks I've got mostly newborn fitteds and Grovia and Swaddlebees Simplex. I've never done fitteds but the prints on Mutts was so cute I had to try them!!
I don't regret it all and it's been a great change for us!!

I have changed my stash many times in my 5+ years of diapering. It keeps it fun and makes it so I dont get burnt out on cloth! I love stash changing.

Yes, over and over again. I've tried it all. The only time I regretted it was when I gave away my Bumstoppers and other WAHM fitteds. Took me forever to restash!

So no one is going to try to talk some sense into me?

Thank goodness.
