Can someone help me, my doctors dates are way off.

My last ultrasound on the 20th she dated me at 8 weeks plus 2 days, meaning today should be 9 weeks and 2 days with a due date of SUn oct 28th right.

She has written I am 9 plus 2 and due on Nov 4th, something is way off here am I right?

My last period was somewhere around Jan 20 to 22. My cycles were not yet regulated fully as I only had a few months pp aunt flo.

I am really confused.

That is what I am getting, October 28th. I would ask her, maybe she looked at the wheel, calculated wrong. Dr's do make mistakes.

She is god awful and I do not understand her. She spends ost her time demanding I pay outr of pocket for unneeded tests, like genetic testing.

I want to switch but we have no other doctors in our city.

I really need a car.

Hey, I'd take the later due date! Gives you more time to avoid an unnecessary induction if you have an intervention happy doctor!

I hope you are able to fidn someone you trust and are more comfortable with.

Is she factoring in your cycle length maybe? I have 31 day cycles, so the regular calculators don't work for me (based on 28 days). It might be different based on your luetal phase too.

My thoughts exactly. If you go with the later date, you won't have people freaking out if you go late!

I may end up with a csection, so wouldnt that be playing with fire to have the dates so far off.

I'd just go with the later date if you could. Csections make that more complicated though. With DS, I had 4 different due dates, from two ultrasounds, my LMP, and what the dr calculated, ranging from the 11th to the 26th! I actually loved it, because neither I nor other people could fixate on a date, so I didn't have anyone driving me crazy about it! He ended up coming on the 13th, so I didn't have to deal with it for a long time, but all leading up to it was much more relaxing

If you may have a planned csection, even MORE reason to choose the later date. Better later, than too soon and have a premature baby.

Rena~ I just realized she put you at 9 w 2d and due Nov 4th....I'm due Nov 4th and I'm only 8 w 3d.....I agree with the other ladies though...they have to calculate in that you have a longer cycle, which would change your dates...when I put in the dates given it gives a due date of Nov 3.....http://www.due-date-calculator.com/
