I've found my boys so much easier to change than my girl, so many less places for yucky stuff to go, you know?! I usually just try and switch the diapers out really fast, but have been peed on a handful of times, having a prefold/cloth wipe handy would definitely help. And I learned with my first to always tuck it down, or you'll get pee up everywhere!

I have a girl but I do know that cleaning poo off a scrotum and a wiggly little firehose is a pain in the butt. I'd much rather clean a girls nooks than a boys wiggly parts!

DS had a strong stream and actually peed through towels and still got me wet. He would pretty much always pee when his diaper came off so I started doing EC and he did great with it although that took some practice. Boys are harder to potty because you need to make sure everything is pointed correctly. I think girls are harder to clean than boys.
