Anyone have an undercover mama tank?

I love nursing tanks for summer around the house. But, the ones I have from before are not as supportive as I'd like even now, not to mention after baby growth.

Anyway, I was thinking of getting some regular skinny strap tanks and making them into something like the UCM tanks by cutting the straps and adding a loop (elastic hairband) instead to loop around the top of my bra flap.

any reason this wouldn't work? And, what does the back of those tanks look like-how does it stay up? Oh, and I realize if I wear this w/o a shirt over that the bra straps will show.

TIA!

I have one. It is exactly like you are describing. The back looks just like the back of my regular tanks.

Are there any straps in the back? Or does it look like a halter top would with the top edge straight across?

No straps in the back. It looks like it has been cut off.

Hmm.. I really like this idea. I'm like you, nursing tanks aren't supportive enough. I bought undercover mama a couple weeks ago, and really like the idea of being able to use my reg nursing bras. What would you use for the loop? It's like those small circle hairbands you use for babies or multiple braids on a girl, but reinforced/thicker.

IDK, not sure yet if I'll even attempt it, but if it is a spaghetti strap tank, I could just use the strap sewn back on itself to make a loop. A bra strap or thicker, I'd use a thin ponytail holder.

DDC-
I bought 3 thru the coop on here and love em! They hook really well onto my nursing bras and they stay up well too. Theyre long enough to cover your stomach and butt so you dont show anything. I plan on using them when not nursing too!

Totally DDC~ But I LOVE mine!!! I used them all through nursing our last baby (2 yrs) and I still use them sometimes just for an undershirt when I need it! I plan on getting at least 2-3 more in different colors...I can't recommend them highly enough!
