Re: S/O: Your family's absolute favorite supper

Oh man they all go crazy over homemade tomato sauce over any type of pasta or vegetable. Specifically my Italian MIL's sauce, which she takes a good 16 hours to make, is their favorite but mine is a close second. Second runner-up is anything with mushrooms. For Easter I sauteed up about 2 pounds of fresh herb and garlic mushrooms and there were no leftovers.

DS doesn't eat it (what DOES he eat these days ) but DH makes the most delicious steak "stir fry." He cooks up steak strips and tosses it with asparagus, cherry tomatoes and large pieces of garlic sauteed in balsamic vinegar

I think the one we all seem like really enjoy is just a whole cooked rotisserie chicken from our grocery store. They are SO good! I purposefully go grocery shopping late afternoon so I can get one for dinner. Heat up some rolls and green beans and that makes for a great, easy dinner!

As for something I cook, the kids LOVE spaghetti!

Tacos
Salmon ( I swear you could put an entire fish on the table and dd1 and I could eat the the whole thing alone!)

And I am ssoooo glad to hear I am not the only one who can't get a chicken to last past a meal. I've been wondering if you guys just have some kind of supersized chickens down there!
