Favorite knit wool?

Getting ready to venture into wool! I will be trying some soakers/skirties/shorties over the summer and would love recommendations for knitters I'm not into stalking so preferrably ready-made or a few weeks turnaround. I'm also hoping not to pay an arm and a leg.

Also, if providing wool, do you have any recs for lower priced wool that does well and lasts?
