H&L or snaps?

For the newborn/small stage, I like H&L particularly for those middle of the night changes.

But I love side snaps best. My entire stash is side snapping.

Snap, they look neater, I don't have to pick gunk out of them, they are harder for baby to undo, nothing snags or sticks together in the laundry, & the diapers stay prettier longer.

I like both...but we only do H&L at night, and under clothes since baby can remove it herself.

I like hook and loop on my baby because I get the best fit but snaps in general because I prefer the look and they last longer than hook and loop.

I prefer side snaps, my ds is scared of the sound h&l makes lol

I have about half of each. H&L give a better fit and are easier to get on with a wiggly baby but I prefer the look of snaps.

I prefer H&L for newborn/small for adjustablilty but overall I prefer snaps since they last longer, don't get all pilly, and are harder for toddlers to undo. My nb/sm stash is almost entirely H&L with the exception of the swaddlebees simplex and FB pockets I have. For my OS stash I have mostly snaps but some H&L for night time and if one of my older kids what to change baby.

First, I think it depends on the brand. Although aplix looks raggedy and will inevitably wear over time, it's easier to get on a kid and get that perfect fit. BG and Thirsties have some of the worst aplix! I love aplix for my diaper bag diapers though. Snaps will last ya! I've had some come apart but I know that no matter the diaper, it'll always look new. Like others have said, snaps are harder for a baby to get undone. I have an equal amount of both, but my ideal stash would consist of mostly one-sized snap diapers with both one-sized aplix and sized aplix. It just really depends on your needs really!

I'm not a fan of snaps, I do <3 FB elites OS though. H&L fit my skinny guy soooo much better, and there's no wing droop, which on him is horrible! I like FB's elite because of the hip snap, and double stuff them for night time. My guy is on lasix which makes him a heavy night time wetter.
So, H&L all the way, except for FB's elite OS

I like snaps because they look a lot better and they don't wear like h&l do. I have 10 BG 3.0s that are all h&l and I replaced all the velcro and laundry tabs on recently. I do like the fit better, and they are excellent for grandparents, but they are so pilled from catching on the front that they look awful. I can't stand laundry chains either!
