Applecheeks Swim Sizing Help
Sz1 7-20 lbs
Sz2 18-40 lbs My DD is 16-ish lbs currently. She is slender in the waist (compared to my other two at her age) in the waist and has a little chub on her thighs. She is 26 inches long. She sort of flip flops between the small and medium rise setting on her BGEs with two snap settings showing on waist adjustment, still on small rise on Flips with one waist snap showing. She is in Thirsties Duo covers sz2 with velcro completely over lapping over a snappi'd red edge GMD although the red edges seem HUGE on her so we only use those for nighttime. Hopefully this sizing info helps you help me! :-) I just don't wanna she'll out the $$$ for an ill fitting dipe KWIM? Here she is just yesterday in her Simplex one size smallest rise one waist snap showing. Thanks mamas!! Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

Re: Applecheeks Swim Sizing Help
My LO was about the same weight as yours when I got her AC swim diaper. Super tiny waist (we overlap EVERYTHING) and chunky thighs. I got her a size 2, since we had outgrown our size 1 AC diaper quite awhile ago and I figured a swim diaper in 1 would be too small. Now I think she could probably fit into a size 1, since they don't have the extra bulk of inserts, but with the size 2 she has lots of growing room and I won't have to worry about getting another swim diaper this summer. I have it on the tightest snaps - the waist fits fine but we do get some droopy crotch once the diaper is wet.

Re: Applecheeks Swim Sizing Help
Yeah - sizing is fine. No leaks, thighs are good. Just looks baggy when you pull her out of the pool. I don't put a suit over... I usually change her into the diaper poolside and I just find it would be a hassle to put a suit over it - then to change it all afterwards. There is another momma that also uses cloth swim diapers though and she puts a rash guard suit on her little one. I just think it seems a bit overkill - the rash guard suit I have for summer has the same mesh in the bottoms anyways. I don't have a pool/water pooper though - might change my mind about the overkill if I did.
