bumGenius Freetime

Anyone have any experience with the AIO one size bumGenius freetime? We had been planning on the 4.0, but I just saw these and was curious as to the innovations.

I like them! Prefer natural fibers but keep a few of these because I like a few of everything Have heard some people say they are bulky but we have no problems with that. I do prefer aplix as it seems a bit more adjustable. Also they seem to dry quite quickly just hanging so the aplix on ours still seems brand new.

I love them! My stash had been primarily 4.0s (I am a snap girl) and I have started to switch over to the freetimes (slowly but surely!). They are awesome and I have found them to be a lot trimmer than the 4.0s for what it is worth. I still think FB are the trimmest of the pockets but I don't mind a little fluffy bum as long as his pants still fit!

I like mine. They are trim and dry faster than a lot of AIOs. But they are fussy to make larger because when u lay baby on top of the two liners u have to tug a but to pull them apart. It's not horrible, just a bit differnt than the 4.0

Re: bumGenius Freetime

We have a few FTs and lots of 4.0 pockets. Our baby isn't a heavy wetter and she is tall/skinny. So for her the FTs are very bulky. But it's great if we are going to be in the car for a long time or we want something easy if she wakes up early and needs a change. I can just grab one and I know it'll be good for at least 2 hours. I wouldn't do a full stash of them, but it's nice to have a few.

DH calls them the "tri fold diapers" and he illustrated with his hands how the flaps fold in 1-2-3. It's a little confusing but I've started calling them that too.

They are okay, nothing too special.

Pros: dry quicker than most AIO's, no stuffing, a BG AIO that comes in Aplix (BGE's do not). They are stay dry.

Cons: I think they are bulky and I bet the weird flats could be confusing to some dad/sitters. And of course they are microfiber so there's the stink factor.

Re: bumGenius Freetime

We use BG pockets and the old 3.0 Medium AIOs. I like the FT and BGE I've been splitting my buying between the two.
