Oh, loved the story!! So happy for you guys, and WOW that went FAST! Since Hattie's active labor was only 7-ish hours, I'm hoping for a super quick one next time too! LOL. I can't wait to see LOTS more photos! And I hope you share your labor/birth photos on your blog too!

Also, a friend of mine shared a great tip about peeing and the tub. You get a small child's potty (we used a $12 Bjorn), and you just stand up out of the tub, and hold it between your legs. Then have hubby dump and rinse before bringing it back. I'll be using it at all my births.

You have a good chance of a faster labor for the next one...DS was 7 hours & DD1 was 3 hours (only 2 hours I'd count as active).

Great idea about the kiddy potty...we had one under the sink & so could've used it!

I'll put more pictures on my flickr & send you a guest pass. I'm weird about posting stuff publicly online...mostly because of my MIL.

congrads! I enjoyed my 1st homebirth in the pool too, on my 2nd homebirth I didn't make it to the pool
