how may nest boxes to chickens?

We have 9 chicks. 3 buff orpingtons, 3 lakenvelders, and 3 golden sex links. I LOVE the orpingtons! They are super sweet birds! We are working on a coop...We are planning on 3 nesting boxes for the 9 of them....room to expand if we ever want to. Our coop is a lot smaller...it is 2 pallets on the floor, then pallets for walls. I have no clue where we are putting the roosts yet.
