Well usually gauge is for the body... so I think you should have used 5s for the collar.

That was my thought too. Unless there was another reason you had to use 7s?

Yep gauge is for body so you should use 5s for the collar and then 7s for the body.

Done with the button band for the hood and I did it differently then what the test pattern says if I did it that way I would have button holes up in the face?

Going to work on the pocket and then decide if I want long or short sleeves.

I have no one to make this for so it doesn't matter .

Depending on of my sister has a boy she might use it this fall/winter. So long sleeves might be best.

I really don't think this is a 3-6 mo size tho. Seems really big but my gauge is right on.
