Help me make a decision!!!

This is for grandma's car (she's our nanny). DD2 is in a Boulevard that is expiring in December. Going RFing in a leather captains chair in an Acadia. DD is 13 months and about 20 pounds, so she'll be fine in just about anything size-wise. I have a Frontier from DD1 to hand down to her for later, so upper end fit is not a priority.

Looking in the $150ish range (this is flexible, and these are today's best deals).

Absolutely cannot need to use a noodle or anything else to get a proper install (RF tether is ok). Smallest footprint front to back is important, too.

Britax Roundabout 55 ($160)
Safety 1st Complete Air ($152)
MyRide 65 ($130)

Grandma hates my TrueFit, and the install is more than she can handle anyway. She has a hard time manipulating the lockoffs, which you must use for a latch install.

What would YOU get????

If she can manage the Graco buckles then I would get the MyRide. If she has trouble with that buckle, get the Roundabout. The CA would more than likely need multiple noodles.

Re: Help me make a decision!!!

My first choice would be roundabout55, followed by myride.

Re: Help me make a decision!!!

I vote roundabout. I have cosco car seats, graco car seats, evenflo and britax. I have found the britax the easiest to use.

Went to BRU. Ended up getting an ETA for my car (on sale for $109). Going to try it in Grandmas car and see how it does. If it works, I will go get another one for her car. If she outgrows it RFing before I am done, I have 3 Radians in DHs car I can relocate, and you can't beat $109.

That's a great price! Make sure she can do the knobs to tighten the harness. If that checks out, then yay!

Re: Help me make a decision!!!

We got the Pria's for grandparents cars as you can use it extended RF and then turn it around as a harnessed booster seat and it has a high weight limit so they don't need a harnessed booster too. I was trying to avoid buying two more seats for each car. $200 with a 20% off coupon. They are very easy to use and install.

Re: Help me make a decision!!!

Thanks! The seat shes in now expires in December, so she'll only been in the new seat about a year to 18 months before she will transition to a Frontier we already have, so I'd rather not go that high, though they look super cool. While I completely understand and support extended rear-facing (DD RF'd in my car til 4), Grandma is not willing to do it past age 2.5, and it is through me being a total &*($ to get her that long. It is not something worth the huge fight that will ensue, so she won't RF probably past 2.5 or so anyway.

I know its not ideal to turn her FF at 2.5, but with free daycare, sometimes you have to make concessions, and grandma wants FF at 18 months, and I want 3, so we have kinda met in the middle for the first two kids at around 2.5.
