I surprised myself and actually did a cute announcement! I didn't think I'd have the energy to be creative. I took a bunch of pics of the kids when we told them, yesterday, that I was pregnant. I put them on my blog as a sort of announcement. Here's the link if you'd like to see it.

Way down at the bottom, you can click on the subject "our urban homestead" and it will take you to all my urban homesteading posts. Thank you! But I only have one girl. LOL! The little blonde one is my "baby" boy who's hair I refuse to cut b/c I have baby hair issues. He gets called a girl every time we step out in public and I still can't take the scissors to it. Maybe once this baby is here....or close to here. I didn't cut my oldest boy's hair until I was preg with my daughter. He had LONG red CURLS. I'm talking shirley temple. I cried when we took him to get it cut. Yes, I have hair issues.

Yes, we told the family. I'm 14 weeks along and we just told them. I posted the blog post a few days after. We waited to tell the kids AFTER telling family and friends b/c there's NO way they'd be able to keep the secret.

DDC, to tell you that I too have baby hair issues. My oldest is 3 and he sports some pretty beautiful locks (and gets called a girl too). I can't cut it! It's so soft and blond and curls so perfectly
