Diaper Swappers

We haven't had one in awhile so I thought I'd start one. Its been quiet around here- I know not everyone is on facebook!

Halfway through the 2nd trimester. I'm still in disbelief that we've made it that far, or some of us are close to it. I've been feeling tiny flutters since 13 weeks but nothing 100%. About a week ago I started getting tiny kicks and its one of the best feelings in the world. I feel him mostly at night and in the morning, though yesterday he gave mea scare and didn't move all day. I broke out the doppler when I got home and he's doing well! He doesn't like the doppler and I can always get a kick or two after using it.

We had our gender scan and everything was good. Coudln't see the stomach though and I convinced the midwife to get a follow up. She wasn't concerned but the doctor who did the u/s did recommend a follow up. We get to see Vinny again in June!!!

For those of you who know the gender or are teamgreen, do you have a name picked out? The first name will be Vincenzo (Vinny) but we're stuck ona middle. We're liking Salvatore and Anthony so far but not sure. What do you mamas think? DS is Thomas Carlo P. IV.

So how are things with everyone else???

We aren't 100% on the name yet, but spent hours talking about it and looking over the weekend. As of now, we are leaning towards Lana Grace. Otherwise same old same old.... Dh left early morning yesterday for St. Louis for work so its just the kids and I this week. I've been knitting like crazy for the baby.

i get to have my gender scan this week! I am so excited. DH was going to miss it, he had to go out of town but he resceduled and will be there. That means a lot to me because he is really not into pregnancy sruff, but he wants to be there for me. Right now I'm holding my sweet sleeping DD. I've only done it a couple of times because we have major sleep issues, but she missed her nap today and I only want her to sleep a short while so she will go to bed on time.

She's starting to look like a little girl, but her sleeping face is still a baby's. It helps with the sweet sadness of watching her grow up to know that there's another one in the way. I've been feeling this baby move a lot lately and I'm cherishing each time.

I feel so blessed, one babybin my arms, another in my womb and a husband who loves us all. These are the moments that make everything worth it.

Oh! Super excited for you!!! We had ours last week (boy) I am getting really excited but no name yet, dang it!

Aw, I know what you mean about holding your little girl. Their sleeping faces are just so sweet! That's awesome your DH gets to join you for the gender scan!! Can't wait to find out what you are having!!

I have 18 mlre days until my scan, I hope the time passes quickly. I am not having kicks yet (a few here and there over the past couple weeks but nothing for SURE). I really need that reassurance! I looked at my journals from last time and I didn't start feeling for sure kicks until 19 weeks, so I shouldn't be too concerned as I'm 17w2d now, but I am a lot more nervous this time round because of our previous loss so I really want those kicks!!!!

My birthday is in 2 days so I bought myself some treats at the grocery store today. And DH will take me out to lunch on my birthday.

I love the name Vinny! nd anthony for a middle name.

I'm so crazy hormonal lately, luckily not mean.

Just very emotional, everything makes me bawl my eyes out. My oldest had her kindergarten recital, and when she came out and started dancing, I completely lost it. A big giant mess in a crowd full of people, my husband is like, "why are you crying?" Everyone else was cheering, hah. I said, "i thik it's because I'm pregnant, hahaha."

We have our nxt ultrasound on the 23rd, (this would be the big gender unveiling, but I already had that early.) I wonder if I'll cry at that too?

My scan isn't for 3 more weeks. I'm having it done a little late at 21.5 weeks. We already have such a long list of potential names that it'd be silly to list them just yet!

Our gender scan is a week from tomorrow! We were team green, but a couple weeks ago my husband decided he couldn't wait to find out! If it's a boy his name will be Elliot Day, and we're still undecided on a girl name. It was going to be Della June, but my husband also changed his mind about that! We're thinking maybe Stella but I'm not sold yet.

We found out last Friday that we're having a little girl! I tried to talk to DH about names and he suggested 'Fredericka' and 'Unis'.

Can you guess why it took us so long to name DS? every time we'd talk names DH would suggest ridiculous ones! and he is totally kidding before you think I'm hurting his feelings lol

I get my ultrasound on Wed, and I'll be one day shy of 19 weeks. I'm so excited, and I'm really hoping I don't cave and demand to know what the baby is. Hopefully DH and my mom can keep me strong.

Yesterday I felt baby kick from the outside for the first time! I was lounging on the couch when I got a really hard kick, and I SAW my belly jump, so I put my hand there and got a hard bump a few seconds later! Baby kept right on kicking, so my mom (who is visiting from AZ) and my oldest daughter got to feel baby too! I started getting all teary... there's really a baby in there!
